Clean Slate

I finally decided to back up my blog and then delete the old posts...all the way back to 2007!  I would encourage all Bloggers who blog about their families on occasion...to be very careful with how much information you give away...even if it's just a little- you'd be surprised what one can do with those tidbits of information.  We are dealing with what we think is an attempted identity theft on both our children..I never gave too much in depth information- but even mentioning their school or birth date is enough if someone really wanted to rob you of something.  Starting fresh with our eyes to God and the future :)

I had a wonderful restful summer and we are ready to start another school year.  I have missed my blog friends...and I have a LOT of catching up to do as I have not been on blogger at all....not even a little bit! I've lost some followers while my blog was closed for construction..I guess that's par for the course.

I'd love to hear from you and please know my new policy is to return the favor each morning over coffee...HONEST!  It's good to be back!!

oh, that is terrifying. i try to be obscure,
too, by never mentioning last names, etc,
but we can never be too careful.

i'm so sorry you've had to go through

it is great to see you again, though!

Welcome back, sis! Sorry to hear about the sleazeballs trying to take your personal info. It's such a pervasive problem.

Look forward to 'seeing' you here!

Love, Lee

How scary is that?! Ugh. Sometimes I hate living in this world. Thanks for the warning to be careful. I always think that I am being careful, but perhaps not enough. And, in the end the truth is, that if it's going to happen, it will happen. There are so many ways...

Hope that you've got it all fixed now, Robin, and I'm glad that you're back!

Welcome back to blogland. I hope everything works out ok with the kiddos. I try very hard to write about personal stuff, and balance that with some sort of specfic anononymity. It is a very tough line to walk. Hang in there@!

Welcome back. I'm hoping to make some changes in my life with this beautiful changing seasin also and one of those changes is to be a better more realible blogger. I love blogging and hope to do the book thing for my family someday so I hope to record all the memories I can 'cause heck, I'm sure not writing them down anywhere else.

Glad your back and good luck with the scary identity thing.

I am sorry to hear about the attempted identity theft! I also try not to give out too much family information. I have never even mentioned my last name or exactly where I live. Strange world we live in these days. Glad your back! It is nice to take a break now and then.

Oh Robin
You are one of my first blogger friends
I remember crying when I saw on your
blog that Dan Fogelberg had died of

He's a Peoria, IL guy
His dad was the Band Leader
of Woodruff High School here

They closed that school this Autumn
and distributed the kids throughout
the districts. Sad...Love to you.
Glad you are back and had a good

I've always tried to be careful...not using real names and all. Not posting photos of family members, etc. But now I've just begun to use my real name because of my Art. It's a bit scary...I like to remain hidden. The wide world web is not something to trust. I should back mine up and then delete.
